Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager role focused on leading capital combustion equipment growth across the Northeast and Midwest industrial markets, including refining, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon processing customers. Own and grow a strategic territory, working with corporate end users, EPC firms, and key decision makers to develop opportunities and close complex capital projects. Responsibilities include developing a regional growth strategy for combustion equipment (flare systems, incineration systems, low NOx burners), building relationships with refiners and EPCs, qualifying and pursuing major capital project opportunities, delivering technical sales presentations to engineering and executive stakeholders, driving opportunities from inquiry through proposal and close, gathering market intelligence, collaborating with engineering and operations to deliver solutions, and expanding aftermarket opportunities. Requires 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience, experience selling into refining/petrochemical/hydrocarbon markets, ability to navigate EPCs and corporate end-users, strong technical aptitude in combustion/heat transfer, willingness to travel regionally (approximately 30–50%), and a track record of influencing decision makers to close high-value sales. The role offers ownership of a strategic, high-visibility territory with significant earning and growth potential, and direct engagement with executives and engineering leadership at major operators. Locations include Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Newark, and Chicago. Travel expectation is regional; no remote work language is specified in the posting.
