Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving growth in laboratory testing services across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, selling to hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other partners. Cultivates and maintains multi-level client relationships, builds actionable account plans, and generates qualified opportunities through lead generation, networking, and strategic partnerships. Manages opportunity pipeline, delivers quotations aligned with client and company requirements, and collaborates with Ascend leadership to capture projects. Requires 5+ years of sales experience, strong knowledge of laboratory testing, travel about 30% for meetings and events, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Remote role within the specified territory with a focus on expanding market presence and differentiating Ascend Clinical’s capabilities in dialysis/CKD, diagnostics, transplant, and future testing offerings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years sales experience
- Understanding and knowledge of laboratory testing and ability to explain and sell to prospective clients
- Ability to travel 30% of the time for client meetings, trade shows, industry meetings, and events
- Competent computer skills, including MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated effective negotiation skills
- Detail oriented, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
