Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager for industrial ventilation systems overseeing a multi-state territory including Indianapolis, Detroit, and Columbus. Responsibilities include expanding dealer and distributor networks, prospecting for new business, maintaining and growing relationships with dealers, distributors, manufacturers’ reps, and end users, coordinating with channel partners to drive growth and profitability, evaluating territory coverage, and driving market penetration. Conducts in-person customer visits, dealer meetings, product presentations, facility and jobsite tours, and uses CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast activity. Works with internal teams on quotations, lead times, customer requirements, project opportunities, and sales support. Monitors market trends and competitive activity in industrial ventilation, dust collection, air handling, and related markets. Travel approximately 50–75% with overnight stays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience selling industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, technical, or industrial equipment products through a dealer, distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner network
- Demonstrated success growing revenue within an assigned multi-state sales territory
- Experience developing new business through prospecting, relationship building, account management, and territory development
- Experience managing dealer, distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner relationships
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to discuss technical or industrial product applications with customers, distributors, and dealers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Indianapolis, Detroit, and Columbus approximately 50–75%
