Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager responsible for growing sales and strengthening relationships with independent sales reps, distributors, and key retail partners across defined regions (North Central and Northeast) with frequent travel. Responsibilities include managing partners, developing territory sales strategies, forecasting and reporting, coordinating product launches and promotions, conducting customer visits and trade shows, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer support. Required skills include relationship building, market analysis, sales strategy execution, CRM/ERP proficiency, and travel readiness; 3–5+ years in sales/territory management or business development and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of sales, territory management, or business development experience preferred
- Experience working with distributors, dealer networks, or independent sales reps preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision a plus)
- Knowledge of the sporting goods or outdoor recreation industry is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel
