Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager in NY with a flexible home office in the Greater Buffalo–Rochester–Syracuse area. Lead sales initiatives by identifying safety problems at large industrial end users, specifying HexArmor PPE solutions, and developing business with distributors. Build economic justifications for PPE investments, support rollout of new PPE policies, and cultivate relationships with safety officers at local, regional, and national levels. Collaborate with inside sales, share market needs with Product Development and sales management, coordinate with Supply Chain for inventory planning, and train distributors’ sales personnel. Travel ~60%+ to meet end users and executives, present safety solutions, maintain a detailed book of business, forecast opportunities in Salesforce, and manage region profitability. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/Excel and Salesforce CRM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years’ experience in industrial sales work experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage a multi-state territory
- Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor calling on end users and distributors
- Proven success in industrial accounts a plus
- Ability to travel 60% or more
