Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager for two Houston-area territories (Greater West Houston and Houston Ship Channel). Role centers on aggressive, consultative PPE/safety solutions sales to large end users, specification and development of HexArmor products, distributor relationship management, and collaboration with inside sales. Responsibilities include engaging with plant safety professionals and safety officers, building economic justifications for PPE investments, rolling out policies regionally, training distributor personnel, delivering impactful regional presentations, maintaining a detailed book of business, forecasting opportunities in CRM, managing travel and expenses, and supporting inventory planning. Requires coordinating with Product Development, Sales Management, and Supply Chain; travel around 60%+, and a team-based approach with inside sales to drive regional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
- Proven ability to manage multi-state territory
- Experience selling to industrial end users and distributors
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and MS Office
