Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager role leading a 2-3 person Business Development Manager team while maintaining a personal sales book. responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, coaching through structured 1:1s and pipeline reviews, setting activity standards and CRM hygiene, identifying skill gaps, developing reps, and collaborating with operations on headcount, territory design, and market prioritization. You will carry an assigned territory, source new opportunities via direct outreach, networking, and industry events, and represent Fortify at trade shows to convert activity into revenue. You will manage both personal and team CRM records, ensure data quality, and ensure a seamless client experience from first contact through project completion. The role requires leading from the front as a player-coach, building structure, and maintaining strong communication with clients and direct reports. Qualifications emphasize a strong sales track record, leadership capabilities, sector experience in restoration/construction/insurance ecosystems, and comfort with regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in field sales or account management with a demonstrated track record of building pipeline from scratch
- 2+ years managing or mentoring a sales team, formally or informally
- Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plus
- Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills; confident in front of both clients and your team
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
- Valid driver's license and comfort with regular travel across the region
- Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
