Regional Sales Manager – Europe (Italian Speaking)

Job Summary
Maximise sales performance and profitability across the assigned European region while achieving enrolment targets within the agreed budget. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans for each market, building and strengthening relationships with existing partners through negotiation of commercial agreements and commission structures. Identify and secure new business opportunities, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional initiatives. Resolve operational issues and payment-related matters proactively, working closely with Admissions and EC Centres to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Requires fluent Italian and English, with Spanish as an advantage; two years of international sales experience and willingness to travel internationally are essential. Based in Malta, this role supports EC's global growth in English and French language education across eight countries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Fluent spoken and written Italian
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and commercial objectives
- Minimum of two years' experience in international sales or account management, ideally within a B2B environment
- Experience developing and managing key client relationships while growing existing accounts
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver business growth
- Excellent relationship management skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to deliver sales, financial and customer satisfaction results
- Ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills
- Confident negotiator with strong presentation skills
- Highly organised with excellent planning and time management abilities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish language skills are considered an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Additional language qualifications are advantageous
- Knowledge of the international education sector or student recruitment industry
- Experience working with language schools or international education providers
- Experience in high-volume group sales, particularly EFL summer schools or junior programmes, would be an asset
- Experience using CRM systems is advantageous
