Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager leading and directing Commercial Sales for the Northwest region (Nevada, California, Washington, Hawaii). Develop and implement regional business plans, budgets, and action plans; manage and coach Territory Managers; drive achievement of sales targets and budgeted goals; collaborate with Market Access to maximize payer reimbursement; create regional plans for message, reach, and frequency; monitor performance against budget; conduct field coaching and ensure timely Field Coaching Reports; travel ~50-60% including overnight stays; requires leadership, strategic planning, strong communication, and a proven ability to build and sustain high-performing sales teams in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferred; or equivalent medical sales experience
- 3+ years sales management experience in a U.S. pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical organization preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in Cardiology (Statin, PCSK9, and NOAC) launch experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in launching new products and/or expanding commercial opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
- Travel requirement: Up to 50% - 60% including overnight stays
