Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager for Equipment Trailers responsible for growing revenue and supporting profitable growth strategies by optimizing sales distribution of Timpte’s complete Equipment Trailer product-line across the assigned territory. Develop and manage three sales channels (contracted dealers, factory-direct retail, National/Key Accounts), recruit new dealers, maintain dealer relationships, execute and manage Dealer Sales/Service Agreements, manage stock levels to meet/ exceed monthly and annual sales goals, and identify new National Account opportunities. Utilize competitive/market intelligence to support pricing decisions and NPD programs. Proficient in MS Office; strong communication; travel up to 70%; valid driver’s license and passport; experience in dealer networks and trailer sales.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience establishing and managing a Dealer distribution network (preferably within the equipment trailer industry).
- Direct sales experience in related fields including semitrailers and/or utility trailers is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for required travel (up to 70%).
- Must provide reliable transportation that is capable of towing company trailers.
- Must possess a valid passport for possible international travel.
