Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager leads the Central Region’s field sales team to drive revenue for medical capital equipment and disposable products, developing regional plans and priorities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining sales personnel (remote and field), ensuring account retention and expansion, and building clinical knowledge to engage Key Opinion Leaders. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, coaching, and deployment of sales strategies within a high-performance sales organization, with 50% travel and eligibility for remote work arrangements. Strong emphasis on business acumen, relationship-building with physicians and clinicians, and adherence to hospital credentialing and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or related field required
- MBA preferred
- Proven track record of sales achievement in medical device sales
- minimum of 2 years sales management experience
- minimum of 6 years overall medical device sales experience
- Travel 50% will be required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Hospital credentialing policies compliance understanding (medical records, immunizations, vaccinations, background checks)
