Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager leads a team of 10 independent sales reps in the Southeast to achieve sales targets and revenue growth; hires, coaches, mentors, and motivates the sales team; builds and maintains relationships with key accounts in plumbing distribution, mechanical contractors, engineers, and contractors to generate specifications for industrial safety equipment; trains and supports independent manufacturers’ representatives; develops and implements sales strategies to increase market share and customer base; monitors and improves sales metrics and performance; travels ~50%.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience selling a technically-oriented product
- Experience selling in the bid/spec, new construction environment is ideal
- Proficiency in SalesForce and CRM experience is a plus
