Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary
Lead group business bookings and develop new accounts across the Canadian Western Mountain Region, including Banff, Jasper, Whistler, and Lake Louise. Create quarterly sales action plans with specific room night quotas, determine prospective customers, and negotiate prices within established parameters. Utilize the SFA Sales System to track, solicit, and follow up on all potential business while coordinating with convention services and hotel departments upon closing. Collect market intelligence to assess strategies and long-term goals, actively participate in industry trade shows and fam trips, and coach the support team to achieve assigned objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree
- 2 to 3 years of hotel Sales experience
- Must be results orientated with ability to be flexible
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
- Computer literacy (SFA, Opera, Excel, Word)
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to travel as required
- Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- Previous experience / knowledge in several market segments is an asset
