Regional Sales Engineer (special steel - welding)

Job Summary
Sell, drive price negotiations to optimize margins, and identify new customers while building lasting relationships. Develop a clear understanding of customer needs, investigate and resolve issues, and conduct seminars and presentations. Follow up and monitor payments, then plan, report, and communicate regularly with management and support functions regarding monthly plans and long-term strategies. Conduct all business within the scope of SMS company policies and mission. Requires a university degree in mechanical engineering or metallurgy, minimum three years of sales experience in special welding electrodes or tool & engineering steel, and fluency in English with Tamil as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience of selling special welding electrodes or tool & engineering steel
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook knowledge
- Strong command of English in reading, writing, listening, and speaking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience from cement, mining, steel, oil & gas or die & mold industry
- Fluent in Tamil
