Job Summary

Regional Sales Director, Uro-Oncology in the Midwest leads and coaches a sales team to promote Ferring’s intravesical gene therapy for bladder cancer within assigned markets. Responsibilities include promoting products to exceed sales quotas, building and leading Sales Specialists, executing brand strategy at regional/territory levels, analyzing markets to inform programs and training, leading field rides to develop staff, identifying new business opportunities, and managing regional travel and expenses. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, 5+ years in pharmaceutical or specialty sales/key account management, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Must be located in/near Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis with extensive travel expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or specialty sales and key account management experience
  • 2+ years of Oncology and/or Urology experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel extensively (extensive travel required)
