Job Summary

Conduct retail sales efforts across the Northeast region by locating, contacting, and closing new accounts through product demonstrations, competitive quoting, and negotiations. Maintain competitor files, research pricing and buying patterns, and report market intelligence via weekly contact reports with same-day responses to inquiries. Travel 3-4 nights weekly within the territory and frequent destination trips for trade shows, while managing sales forecasting and product enhancement recommendations with the Business Unit Manager. Requires frequent travel, a valid driver's license, and residence or relocation to the designated area.

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering
Five or more years of related sales experience
Currently reside in the territory (OH, WV, VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NY, VT, NH, ME) OR be willing to relocate to this area
Live near a national airport
Must be able to travel 3-4 nights per week within the territory and frequent destination trips outside of territory (trade shows, training, industry meetings, etc.)
Valid driver's license
Advanced personal computing skills
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
