Regional Sales Director - Midwest

Job Summary
Full strategic direction and coverage of the regional map, focusing on customer needs and issues to maintain existing Install Base. Develop strategies for upgrading and expanding the customer footprint, especially in Academic accounts. Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction through regular reviews, addressing complaints, and providing product lifecycle support. Requires a bachelor's degree with a preference for an MBA, five years of medical equipment sales experience, and the ability to engage with C-suite and clinical levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Proven track record of selling at both the clinical and C-suite levels
- Knowledge of Accuray product portfolio
- Minimum five (5) years of professional Customer facing experience in medical equipment with specific knowledge of the assigned territory
- Ability to be self-motivated and to work independently
- Dynamic, proactive, and driven to high levels of accomplishment
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
- Candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
Desired Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Familiarity and experience with oncology, radiotherapy, IMRT, Radiosurgery, Medical Physics and other hospital/healthcare practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Experience demonstrating strong written and verbal skills including an ability to present complex technology in a positive manner.

- Must learn both platform technologies and expertly present to all segments of the market
- Must be able to complete all service and sales related administrative tasks such as quote requests and accurate opportunity management and forecasting within the customer relationship management system.
