Job Summary
Own the full sales lifecycle for Computrition's core cloud-based platform in healthcare and higher education markets. Relentlessly engage, qualify, and close new-logo, enterprise-level opportunities by self-sourcing your own pipeline and leveraging AI-powered research to map financial performance and stakeholder personas. Pinpoint prospect KPI objectives and performance gaps, then present tailored, ROI-backed solution proposals quantifying labor savings, food-cost reduction, and revenue generation. Navigate long, multi-stakeholder cycles and RFP processes to influence C-suite economic buyers, converting visibility at industry events into net-new business. Manage territory ownership with rigorous CRM hygiene and dependable forecasting while coordinating cross-functional collaboration with solution specialists and marketing partners.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, or operational experience at a senior level within a hospital nutrition-services department or campus dining operation
- Solid understanding of — or experience administering — non-commercial foodservice or nutrition-services software solutions
- Demonstrated experience analyzing customer or departmental requirements and aligning them to foodservice IT services
- Experience developing strategic accounts and presenting to the C-suite in a non-commercial acute healthcare or higher education environment
- Proven success placing nutrition and foodservice technology solutions in either a sales or operations capacity
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory
Desired Qualifications
- Prior knowledge or experience in foodservice operations, the workings of a healthcare facility or higher-education dining program, a production kitchen, and/or related software systems
- Depth in one market with the adaptability to ramp quickly in the other is expected; fluency in both is a strong advantage
- Acute Healthcare Understanding of hospital foodservice and clinical nutrition workflows, including diet office operations, room-service models, and the role of registered dietitians
- Familiarity with the IDN, health-system, and GPO landscape and how purchasing decisions flow through it
- Awareness of regulatory and accreditation pressures (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) and the data-sensitivity expectations of a clinical environment
- Ability to articulate value to clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders within an acute-care setting
- Higher Education Knowledge of campus dining operations and the auxiliary / business-services buying environment
- Understanding of the self-operated vs. contract-managed (e.g., Aramark, Sodexo, Compass) dynamic and how it shapes a technology decision
- Familiarity with academic budgeting and fiscal-year timing that drive purchasing windows
- Ability to connect platform value to student satisfaction, dining program goals, and operational cost control
- Territory ownership. Entrepreneurial approach to planning, prioritizing, and growing an assigned region
- Cross-functional collaboration. Works effectively alongside solution specialists, implementation, and marketing partners to advance opportunities — coordinating their involvement at the right moments in the sales process
- Requirements analysis. Analyzes customer and departmental operations to align prospect needs with the right foodservice IT solution
- Communication. Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences
- Time & travel management. Organizes a field-based schedule efficiently and manages the travel the territory requires
- CRM & sales tooling. Proficient with CRM and standard sales-productivity tools to manage activity, pipeline, and forecasting
- Post-secondary education preferred
