Regional Sales Director

Job Summary
Oversee direct sales and build client relationships while executing sales strategies to achieve regional objectives. Responsible for staffing, training, performance evaluations, and the development of sales personnel. Collaborate with marketing to execute branding initiatives and coordinate sales activities by establishing quotas and goals. Identify and recruit major customers, provide sales plans to upper management, and recommend product improvements. Key competencies include strong leadership, negotiation skills, the ability to manage budgets, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful relevant sales management experience
- Strong management experience, preferably in the woodworking industry
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategy implementation
- Good organization/time management skills
- Knowledge of sales processes
- Business acumen
