Job Summary
Regional Sales Director responsible for developing branch strategy, leading the agency sales force, managing new agency prospects, and driving branch growth and profitability. Leads sales planning, production goals, and partnerships with key agencies; engages in negotiations, staffing, coaching, and succession planning. Requires extensive experience in property and casualty insurance, strong leadership, relationship-building, and the ability to travel. Remote work is available for candidates in Mississippi (and listed states). The role emphasizes strategy development, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration with corporate offices and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent relevant work experience
- Ten years of underwriting or sales/marketing experience in property and casualty insurance industry or related experience
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance industry, independent agency operations
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Travel ability and valid driver’s license (as per job posting)
- Insurance designations such as CPCU or CIC are preferred
