Job Summary
Conduct regular jobsite visits, inspections, and audits to identify and correct potential hazards while providing guidance and training to employees on safety policies and best practices. Partner with field leadership to implement project-specific safety plans, monitor OSHA compliance, and lead incident investigations to recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture aligned with Danforth's values across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of safety experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or a related industry
- Working knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-starter with a commitment to safety, learning, and professional growth
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
