Job Summary
Conduct safety audits on restoration construction sites and develop Action Hazard Analysis documents. Track and administer MEQS and fit testing for the respiratory protection program while reviewing daily AHAs and equipment inspection forms. Document incidents, provide safety leadership, and support project teams with safety planning and training events. Review EAPs for all projects and coordinate possible interstate travel depending on workload. Perform duties in a combination of office and outdoor site locations, including extended exposure to elements and rough terrain.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Valid Driver License
- 10 years of general construction
- 5 years construction Safety
- Swing stage rigging experience
- Scaffold erection experience
- OSHA 510/500 OSHA 30 expectable at start
- EM 385-11 Fall protection
- CPR First Aid Certified
- Procore experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer)
- Must have acceptable background check results
- Must obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations (if applicable to the contract)
- Must be able to properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection
- Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness
- Must be able to maneuver around work sites
- Must be able to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients
- Must be able to bend, stoop, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather
- Must be able to walk over rough and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to work in a combination of office and outdoor site locations
- Must be able to work with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse
- Must be able to work with exposure to heat and cold conditions
- Must be able to work with potentially wildlife
- Must be able to work with exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise
