Job Summary
The Regional Safety Manager leads and manages safety, health, and regulatory compliance programs across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance, conducting regular safety inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and providing safety coaching and training. This role requires 7+ years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and the ability to travel regionally.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing or similar high-hazard industrial environments
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PSM & RMP Programs
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Ability to travel regionally (typically 25 – 40%)
Desired Qualifications
- CSP, ASP, CHMM, or equivalent certification
- A degree in Chemical Engineering
- Experience with ammonia and other regulated chemicals in batch or continuous chemical processes
