Regional Safety Manager

Job Summary

Lead regional Environmental Health and Safety efforts for the Colorado and Utah territory, driving zero-accident goals through proactive risk recognition and mitigation. Manage safety standards, conduct comprehensive facility and field audits, and develop corrective action plans based on findings. Investigate injuries and incidents to create root cause analyses, compile statistical data, and submit regulatory reports to OSHA and other agencies. Train regional resources on construction safety, facilitate safety meetings, and align resources by analyzing monthly incident trends. Maintain current knowledge of industry safety practices and corporate best practices to continuously improve safety protocols across the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ Years' Experience
  • OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and safety administration in a transportation, construction, distribution, general industry or warehousing environment
  • Proficient in OSHA & EPA Regulations
  • State and Federal laws
  • Proficient knowledge in all Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age
  • Travel: +/- 50%

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
  • Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST)
  • Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred)
