Job Summary
Regional Safety Manager responsible for leading and mentoring regional safety staff, implementing corporate safety initiatives at the regional level, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, state, local, and client-specific requirements. Key duties include supervising Area Safety Managers, Safety Coordinators, and Safety Specialists; driving a proactive safety culture; leading incident investigations and root cause analyses with corrective actions; managing regional safety reporting and metrics (leading and lagging indicators); partnering with regional operations to integrate safety into project planning; providing SME support for high-risk construction activities; conducting field audits/inspections; and supporting bid/pre-job/client meetings. Qualifications include 7–10 years of construction safety experience with 3+ years in leadership; specialty construction experience preferred (industrial, power generation, mechanical, or heavy civil); bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred; professional certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST) preferred.
