Job Summary
Regional Safety Manager to lead and support safety programs across multiple heavy civil construction job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and client safety standards; conduct site audits, trainings, incident investigations, and safety planning; manage safety metrics (TRIR, EMR) and coordinate with operations leadership and regulatory/client representatives; travel 50-75% across assigned regions to support safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 500 (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety & Health Standards – Construction)
- OSHA 510 (Occupational Safety & Health Standards for Construction)
- Current CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification
- 7+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in heavy civil, mining, or large-scale earthmoving environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Proven experience managing safety programs across multiple job sites
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
