Regional Safety Manager

Job Summary
Regional Safety Manager will partner with four business segments to conduct hazard and risk assessments, design solutions to reduce hazards, and expand site knowledge and adoption of safety policies and culture. Responsibilities include conducting EHS audits and inspections, developing and delivering safety programs, ensuring Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis are completed, coordinating workers' compensation activities, analyzing incident data and investigations, maintaining training records and safety manuals, and serving as liaison with external agencies (OSHA, EPA, MSHA). The role requires collaboration with site leadership, knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations, and travel 50-70%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree including the fields of Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant EHS industry experience involving safety hazard analysis and mitigation
- CSP ASP or GSP ideal
- Experience conducting workplace assessments to prevent injuries/ accidents and improve compliance
- Knowledgeable of Safety, Health and Environmental strategies and practices to reduce or eliminate hazards and risks
- Current working knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations and industry standards
- MSHA training certification or ability to get certification required
- Basic project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- This position will require 50%-70% travel
