Regional Safety Manager - Dallas, TX

Job Summary
Conduct periodic on-site safety inspections, analyze work practices, and monitor regional metrics to proactively address emerging risks. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, defend against citations, and file Notices of Contest while overseeing injury protocols and claims management. Develop and enforce preventative safety measures, manage training programs for field employees, and supervise Site Safety Coordinators and Area Safety Managers. Provide mentorship to leadership teams and implement regional safety strategies aligned with corporate goals. Requires 60% travel to construction projects; reports to Regional Safety Director.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of experience in the administration of safety and risk management programs or occupational safety and health programs supporting similar key responsibilities
- Ability to travel and work on construction projects up to 60%
- Familiarity with construction safety work rules contained in Supervisor Safety Manuals as well as OSHA Part 1910 and 1926 regulations
- Understanding of state Workers Compensation laws and reporting requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Occupation Safety and Health, or related degree, CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP a plus
- Experience in high rise structural concrete construction preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
