Regional Safety Manager - Dallas, TX

Job Summary
Conduct periodic on-site safety inspections, analyze work practices, and monitor regional metrics to proactively address emerging risks. Ensure all policies comply with OSHA regulations, defend against citations by filing Notices of Contest, and oversee injury/claims management and treatment protocols. Document findings in reports, facilitate quarterly SQP reviews with leadership, and develop preventative measures and training programs for field employees. Supervise Site Safety Coordinators and Area Safety Managers while implementing regional safety strategies aligned with corporate goals. Requires 60% travel, five years of safety administration experience, and bilingual Spanish skills. Reports directly to the Regional Safety Director.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of experience in the administration of safety and risk management programs or occupational safety and health programs supporting similar key responsibilities
- Ability to travel and work on construction projects up to 60%
- Familiarity with construction safety work rules contained in Supervisor Safety Manuals as well as OSHA Part 1910 and 1926 regulations
- Understanding of state Workers Compensation laws and reporting requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Occupation Safety and Health, or related degree, CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP a plus
- Experience in high rise structural concrete construction preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
