Job Summary
Execute regulatory and technical safety strategy, serving as the primary compliance contact for regional operations while conducting in-field audits, inspections, and risk management plans. Provide guidance and training to Field Operations Leaders and Service Technicians on jurisdictional systems, including process hazard analysis and environmental management systems. Lead incident investigations, ensure corrective actions, and collaborate with leadership on management of change for equipment under NFPA regulations. Manage multi-site regions with 25 to 30% travel across Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of EPA and NFPA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Legal Authorization to work in the US
- Ability to travel 25 to 30% within assigned region
- Selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to a state within our North region: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years preferred
- Experience in managing multi-site regions, specific to environmental and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of NFPA regulations
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations (i.e. EPA)
- Root-cause analysis and audit protocols
- Experience training front-line staff on technical safety and compliance
- Ability to problem solve and build effective strategies within their region to support the overall HSE objectives
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project), Portal / Intranet
