Job Summary
Drive Illinois retail marketing strategy by conceiving activation concepts across paid media, loyalty, eCommerce, and in-store experiences. Translate market insights into actionable campaign briefs, build the activation calendar, and lead cross-functional implementation with Paid Media, Loyalty, and Retail Operations teams. Monitor performance against acquisition and retention KPIs, react to signals, and propose adjustments to optimize results. Show up in the field for key activations and store visits to support local partners, gather firsthand insights, and ensure brand standards. This hands-on role balances net new customer acquisition with retention programming to build a scalable playbook for regional retail marketing.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience in retail marketing, growth marketing, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability to move from concept to execution
- Comfort working across multiple marketing channels simultaneously
- Strong analytical instincts
- Effective cross-functional communicator
- Self-starter who operates with a high degree of autonomy
- Willingness to travel regularly within Illinois
- Chicago-area base
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
