Job Summary
Develop and execute regional retail marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, loyalty, and revenue growth for a fast-growing cannabis retailer. Build an integrated marketing calendar and create campaign briefs to partner with Paid Media, eCommerce, and Retail Operations teams. Monitor performance metrics to recommend optimizations and coordinate in-store activations, signage, and promotional materials. Visit retail locations regularly to support events, gather feedback, and ensure consistent brand execution while translating local market trends into actionable initiatives. This hands-on role blends strategy with field support, initially focusing on the Illinois market with opportunities to expand as the regional function grows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years of experience in retail, growth, or consumer marketing
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple customer touchpoints
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, loyalty, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept through execution while coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating campaign performance and using data to drive marketing decisions
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be eligible for any required state licensing or badging
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations required to work in the industry
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
