Job Summary
Perform OB/GYN, MFM, and abdominal exams across office and hospital-based accounts in the Burlington, Massachusetts area, covering open accounts, vacations, and sick days. Act as a resource to other sonographers while explaining procedures to patients in a friendly manner and transferring results to interpreting physicians or offsite services. Set up scanning equipment, troubleshoot issues, and execute established protocols consistently. Interact with office managers and physicians, assist clinical leadership in training new hires, and manage patient and account relations. Requires an RDMS in OB/GYN and Abdominal with 2-3 years of clinical imaging experience.
Required Qualifications
- RDMS in OB/GYN and Abdominal
- current OB/GYN and MFM experience
- recent within 2 years
- General preferred
- Vascular a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience post-RDMS
- 2-3 years of experience in a Clinical Imaging/Ultrasound environment
- Must be capable of applying sound patient and ultrasound practices to all decisions
- Must have the ability to work with Ultrasound/Imaging software: Word, Excel, etc
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, Clinical Managers, and doctors
- Must have the ability to problem solve effectively in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred or equivalent clinical experience
- Ability to work with Ultrasound/Imaging software (Viewpoint, Epic, etc.)
- GE Voluson experience
