Job Summary
Support and energize local chapters to grow membership, deliver habitat and outreach efforts, and execute fundraising events. Launch new chapters, reinvigorate existing ones, and build strong volunteer leadership teams through regular motivational communication. Coordinate with development staff to cultivate donors and organize regional meetings while collaborating across departments for a unified conservation message. Manage multiple projects across South Dakota with frequent travel, utilizing provided technology tools to troubleshoot systems for volunteers. Submit a single PDF or Word document containing your cover letter, resume, and three references as part of your application.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, wildlife conservation, education, or a related field
- Willingness to travel frequently within South Dakota
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of collaborating with volunteers, nonprofit boards, or grassroots campaigns preferred
- Deep understanding of QF & PF's mission and model
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you're a connector and a motivator
- Organized and self-driven, able to manage multiple projects across a broad geography
- Comfortable using technology to support day-to-day work, troubleshoot issues for chapters, and clearly explain systems and processes to volunteers
- Passion for conservation, the uplands, and the hunting community
