Job Summary
Relationship Banker responsibilities include conducting consultative conversations with customers to identify financial needs, processing traditional transactions, answering account-related questions, and delivering a cohesive customer experience across traditional and digital channels. The role emphasizes proactive cross-selling of deposit and loan products, leveraging the Salesforce platform for customer interactions, and collaborating with branch staff to enhance lobby management and outreach while adhering to regulatory policies. Ideal candidates will combine an energetic, customer-focused sales mindset with strong communication, notary/NMLS credentials, and the ability to works in a team-based banking environment across multiple locations in New England (Massachusetts/NH/RI).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years of successful experience in a sales and service environment such as retail, hospitality, or financial services.
- Must be or become a Notary Public and NMLS certified.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to operate a wide variety of equipment and mobile devices.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong sales orientation with ability to balance multiple priorities and ability to adapt approach to different situations as needed.
- Ability to work intuitively and find creative solutions should any problems arise.
- Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing inside and outside of a branch environment and continuous customer contact.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.
- Ability to successfully complete our training program.
