Job Summary
Develop regional rehabilitation strategies and ensure technical quality across Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine by adapting operational frameworks to evolving contexts. Lead project implementation and monitor technical relevance while designing training materials and fostering partnerships with national actors. Drive business development for new rehabilitation opportunities and support emergency preparedness actions in the region. Contribute to research and innovation projects within MHPSS expertise and maintain compliance with global technical standards. Travel extensively between mission countries to deliver direct operational support and capacity building.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Minimum of 5 years' experience between international development and emergency and post crisis environments, in technical position
- Proven experience in complex environments as well as in collaboration with national rehabilitation actors at all levels (from services to central and international levels)
- Strong strategic analytical skills; capacity to establish clear frameworks, rules and limits
- Strong experience in capacity building techniques with adults, using different pedagogical models
- Ability to travel between the countries of the region and be able to move easily
