Regional Registered Dietitian

Job Summary
Provide oversight and virtuous leadership for Food and Nutrition Services across the Massachusetts region, serving as the clinical resource for Registered Dietitians, facility leadership, and nursing teams. Monitor implementation of nutrition care standards, review quality indicators and audit findings to drive improved outcomes, and assist facilities with corrective action plans for regulatory compliance. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and mentor staff while assigning coverage and schedules to ensure adequate clinical support. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support clinical objectives, participate in budget development, and guide the team on weekly weight review processes. Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, state guidelines, and ethical standards while maintaining effective communication with residents, families, and stakeholders. This hybrid role requires onsite responsibilities and expert knowledge of PCC, DSSI, and Dining RD systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Committee on Dietetic Registration
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of CMS regulations, long term care requirements, standards of practice and state guidelines
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel throughout the Massachusetts region
- This is a hybrid roll with onsite responsibilities
