Job Summary
Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing evaluation of the plan of care for each resident; participate in IDCP care conferences as needed; provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being; demonstrate ability to work cooperatively as a team member; train and audit other dietitians; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. Skills emphasized include nutrition assessment, education/counseling, interdisciplinary collaboration, travel to facilities, training/auditing, and regulatory compliance.
