Job Summary
Conduct regional outreach for UNLV undergraduate and graduate admissions by visiting high schools, community colleges, and affiliated events within assigned Florida recruiting regions. Plan, arrange, and implement a personal recruitment schedule while providing advisement to students and families regarding educational opportunities. Deliver presentations to parents, faculty, and public audiences, and assist in creating and distributing promotional materials for targeted student populations. Analyze student recruitment trends, review individual applications for admission eligibility, and troubleshoot application issues. Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities and coordinate communications with applicants and event staff. Implement marketing plans to attract specific demographics, identify potential barriers to enrollment, and take independent initiative to address them. Work irregular hours and weekends as necessary to meet yearly recruiting goals and support the university's mission of increasing equitable student success and enrollment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- 1 – 3 years of Related Professional Experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
