Job Summary
Regional Quality Manager leads quality operations for Walsh Transportation Division, coordinating with clients, business-group Operations Managers, service providers, and Project Managers to ensure seamless application of quality programming across the region. Responsible for establishing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs, analyzing trends, and implementing improvement strategies to drive continuous improvement and reduce rework. Promotes quality throughout the company in alignment with corporate strategy, supports project implementation plans and training, and provides advanced leadership to develop staff. Plays a mentorship role for QC Managers, assists in staffing and qualifications, conducts audits and uses tools like Project QC Evaluation for ongoing quality improvement. Partners with owners, clients, contractors, design partners, and stakeholders to support project partnering and issue resolution. Requires travel within the area/region served and a Bachelor’s degree in AEC with relevant certifications; strong communication, presentation, and training abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in AEC program or equivalent related field experience
- Construction Industry Association Certification in Organizational Management, Auditing, and/or Training
- Minimum 15 years of experience in AEC with a minimum of 10 years QA/QC leadership
- Professional Registration in an AEC
- Travel required within area or region served
- Proficient public speaker, presenter and trainer
- Excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
