Job Summary
Develop and implement quality plans aligning with SOLV Energy's Quality Management System, SOPs, and contract requirements for PV EPC projects. Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing and completed projects to ensure adherence to quality standards, AHJ requirements, and code compliance. Manage quality control processes by overseeing testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, and systems within the Southwest region. Provide direct training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance practices, SOLV SOPs, and documentation procedures using the proprietary "Sunscreen" software. Collaborate with stakeholders to address quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining detailed records of inspections and corrective actions. Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods to identify quality issues and create, implement, and monitor formal CAPA's.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- OSHA 10 certification
- OSHA 30 certification
- Journeyman certification
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety
- Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in quality management software and tools
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Required travel to visit project sites in the assigned region (Southwest) regularly
- Travel to meet with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
- Occasional travel to various locations for seminars, conferences and meetings

- Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor
- ISO 9001 certification
- Six Sigma certification
- PMP certification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (also listed as highly desirable)
