Job Summary
Regional Quality Manager responsible for overseeing and managing QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the Midwest region. Develop and implement quality plans that align with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System, SOPs and contract requirements; establish and maintain quality systems to ensure regulatory and customer satisfaction; conduct regular inspections and audits, manage testing and evaluation of materials and processes; train project teams on QA practices and SOLV documentation (Sunscreen software, SOPs, SWIs, MOPs); collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues; document findings and prepare reports; perform root cause analysis (5-Why or 8D) and implement CAPAs; stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements; travel regularly to project sites and to meet clients/regulators; contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with AHJ requirements, installation instructions, and codes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management (preferably in solar or renewable energy)
- Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, PMP are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman are also highly desirable
