Job Summary
Regional Quality Control Manager leads QC for the region, overseeing pre-construction reviews, technical assistance on quality issues with submittals and RFIs, and regional QC compliance. Responsibilities include contract/scope/specification review, pre-construction specification review, design review in coordination with Corporate Quality Director and materials specialists, project safety compliance, regional QC compliance, on-site quality reviews, collaborating with project teams to resolve quality issues, coordinating with GC/Owner and CSI Operations on manpower/resources, and supporting quality staff. Requires strong verbal/written communication, ability to analyze complex quality scenarios, leadership and team-building capabilities, problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements across multiple projects. Education/experience emphasis includes 5+ years in concrete construction, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in construction-related field; familiarity with ACI/PCI/TCA codes; readiness to lead project teams and work both independently and in teams. The role is based in Overland, MO, United States.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with concrete construction
- Strong knowledge of concrete production, testing and placement practices
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, PCI, TCA)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Engineering or other construction related field recommended
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience leading project teams and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders
