Job Summary
Regional Purchasing Sr. Manager will oversee a team for purchasing, logistics and related departments, ensuring purchasing requests are completed efficiently and cost-effectively while managing inventory and budgets. Responsibilities include inventory management and material budget oversight, analyzing market conditions to predict future supply needs, leading cross-functional teams in medium-to-large strategic sourcing initiatives and implementing category strategies, maintaining consistent supplier communications to meet timelines, and coordinating between suppliers and internal teams to resolve documents and questions. The role requires driving negotiations from Long Term Agreements to individual Purchase Orders, plus strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. A university degree is required, with the ability to lead and coach team members, and a proven track record in fast-paced environments, organization, planning, and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong collaboration with suppliers and external customers are essential.
