Job Summary
Source and develop suppliers to meet operational and customer requirements, then contract and negotiate with them to ensure favorable commercial and quality terms. Manage supplier relationships, resolve quality issues, and plan purchase orders using SAP systems while tracking outstanding orders to guarantee on-time delivery and supply security. Analyze supply data and performance metrics to report issues to management, monitor local market trends, and identify contract risk areas for mitigation strategies. Collaborate with Category Managers to align local sourcing strategies with operational requirements and support ZERO downtime objectives for manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 2-3 years of procurement/purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and data management abilities
- Knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and P2P processes
- Fluent in Romanian and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work in a multilingual, collaborative environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license (occasional travel to supplier sites)
