Regional Property Manager - West Coast Portfolio (San Diego Preferred)

Job Summary
Oversee the operational and financial performance of a multifamily portfolio across California, Nevada, and Washington by leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and NOI maximization. Conduct regular property inspections, manage maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while monitoring rent collections and vendor performance. Drive occupancy and revenue growth through market analysis, leasing strategy execution, and resident retention initiatives. Recruit, coach, and develop Property Managers and onsite teams across geographically dispersed markets. This hybrid role requires a strong preference for candidates based in San Diego, with monthly travel throughout the portfolio and frequent day trips between San Diego, Las Vegas, and Portland.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Real Estate License
- Minimum 3–5 years of multifamily property management experience, including experience managing multiple communities or a regional portfolio
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving NOI
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing onsite property management teams
- Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong client relationship management experience
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities across geographically dispersed communities
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the West Coast portfolio
Desired Qualifications
- Nevada Real Estate License
- Experience supporting new construction, lease-up, or ground-up developments
- Experience managing properties across multiple states
- Experience working with institutional ownership groups or large multifamily operators
- Experience with Yardi preferred; experience with AppFolio or other property management software platforms is considered transferable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field
- Industry certifications such as CPM, CAPS, CAM, ARM, or HCCP
