Job Summary
Oversee and manage the multifamily portfolio in Central/West St. Louis County by partnering with the Asset Manager to drive financial success through strategic decisions that increase income and grow NOI. Guide individual Property Managers on key duties including renewals, leasing, rent growth, bad debt collection, marketing, and policy adherence. Lead team success by maintaining a strong leadership style, training, mentoring, and motivating site teams to achieve desired results. Conduct regular site inspections, coordinate employee training, prepare annual budgets, and review financial reports. Assist with challenging resident complaints and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal property management laws. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience managing 30+ employees, and proficiency in Yardi or similar software. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent formal training or certifications
- 5+ years' experience in Multi-Family Housing as a Regional Property Manager or equivalent
- Experience managing 30+ employees
- Effective leadership style focused on team development and being a servant leader
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Conflict Resolution and timely problem-solving in an effective and respectful manner
- Full understanding of property financial statements
- Budget preparation and implementation
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Industry software
- Local, state, and federal resident/property management laws/guidelines
- Fair housing and all legal requirements specific to apartment property management
- Local market expertise and knowledge within the region
- Maintenance process and responsibilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
