Job Summary
Involves management of a portfolio of 4 affordable housing properties in Buffalo/Syracuse, focusing on compliance with LIHTC and HUD regulations, financial management, and leadership of onsite staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive property management experience
- At least two (2) years in a regional or multi-site leadership role
- Extensive experience in affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and Project-Based Section 8
- Tax Credit Compliance certification (e.g., HCCP - Housing Credit Certified Professional, TCS - Tax Credit Specialist)
- HUD/Section 8 certification (e.g., COS - Certified Occupancy Specialist, BOS - Blended Occupancy Specialist)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between properties
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in property management software (experience with RealPage/OneSite or Yardi is a plus)
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills
