Job Summary
Lead and support regional IT infrastructure projects across the Pittsburgh area and I-79 corridor, providing technical oversight for network operations and upgrades. Plan, design, and execute infrastructure migrations while installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Perform structured cabling and wire installation, diagnose hardware and software issues, and support Windows environments and Microsoft Server-based systems. Maintain flexibility to handle both planned work and urgent service requests, traveling occasionally to client sites. This senior-level role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong client communication skills to deliver high-quality technical solutions in dynamic environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, switching, and infrastructure design
- Experience installing and configuring network switches and cabling systems
- Proficiency in Windows environments, system administration, and Microsoft Server technologies
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and networks
- Experience supporting medium to large-scale networks
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Travel occasionally to client sites throughout the I‐79 corridor to support projects and service needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise networking environments and multi-site deployments
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or similar
- Background supporting both network infrastructure and server environments
