Regional Project Engineer

Job Summary
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria for assigned CapEx initiatives, leading feasibility studies and technical solution evaluations. Develop and manage project plans, coordinate installation and construction activities, and execute FAT/SAT, commissioning, and performance verification against defined criteria. Deliver complete project handovers with as-built documentation and O&M manuals, while monitoring budgets, managing procurement processes, and validating supplier charges. Ensure all project activities comply with EHS requirements, including hazard communication, risk assessments, and safe design principles. Coordinate internal and contractor resourcing, manage training for operations, and support benefits realization reviews. Occasional overtime may be required, with up to 15% travel needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
- 5-10 or more years' experience in manufacturing plants in areas of engineering, maintenance, or processes
- 5+ or more years' experience in project management
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry (food manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of capital accounting and budgeting
- Strong Cad skills
- Strong Windows skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Good oral and written communication skills
